How does Art of the Piedmont benefit Middleburg Montessori School?
You may know that Art of the Piedmont is the primary fundraising event for Middleburg Montessori School, but if you’re wondering what the school does with the money it raises, the answer is simple — a lot.
Here’s just a sampling of some of the ways Art of the Piedmont helps Middleburg Montessori School, an AMI-accredited Montessori school that educates children ages 18 months-14 years:
- Art of the Piedmont helps to support and maintain the school’s current program offerings, including a weekly Mommy and Me toddler class, daily elementary and primary programs for children ages 2 ½-12, after-school Spanish language lessons and summer programs.
- Art of the Piedmont provides funding that is critical to the future growth of the school, including plans for a daily toddler environment, an Atrium to provide Catechesis of the Good Shepherd programs to children ages 3-12 throughout the Middleburg community, and a middle school that will open this fall.
- Art of the Piedmont will help the school fund the construction of an additional building that is necessary to help the school keep pace with its projected growth
The benefits from Art of the Piedmont extend beyond Middleburg Montessori School as well. It’s a fantastic opportunity for artists to showcase their work and for the community to gather together.
